Square is the unique vision of owner and developer Virginia Burroughs
of Seal Beach, California. On a trip on the Mississippi Queen in
June of 2005 she came to Helena, Arkansas as part of a tour and
was captivated by the beauty of the community and the historic homes.
She purchased Magnolia Hill Bed and Breakfast in 2005. Little did
she know that was only the beginning. In 2006 she was able to acquire
the Solomon House along with the property adjacent. The development
encompasses an entire city block in the historical district now
known as Carriage Square.
The Victorian gardens feature a fountain, gazebo, stage, walkways
and a formal lawn. It is available for special events, weddings,
music shows, family reunions or parties.
While
you are here visit historic Helena site of a Civil War battle and
rich in Mississippi River Delta Heritage. Helena is home to the
Arkansas Blues and Heritage Festival, Wild Hog Music Festival and
Motorcycle Rally and the Delta Cultural Center.
